Rain has halted play at the Canadian cricket championships, forcing organizers to push the final game to Monday.

The tournament, featuring eight teams from across the country using the new Twenty20 format of 20 overs each, completed its round robin phase on Saturday with defending champs British Columbia and Ontario A leading their divisions.

Semifinals will go at 9 a.m. Monday featuring British Columbia against Quebec and Ontario A in a showdown with Ontario B.

Finals go at 1 p.m. in King City, Ont., just north of Toronto.
