King scored a key pair in the ninth end to defeat Winnipeg's Jennifer Jones 10-9 in a thrilling see-saw women's final in Kamloops, B.C.
The win was King's fifth in a row at the competition. King, the 1998 Tournament of Hearts champion, defeated Jones earlier this week during the round robin.
By virtue of her victory over the reigning Canadian women's champion, King scooped up the top prize of $33,500 and earned a return trip to Kamloops next year as the defending Cup champion.
After giving up one in the first end, Jones responded with an open draw for three in the second to take temporary control of the contest.
King fought right back, though, picking up a pair in the third to knot the score at 3-3.
With King in a position to steal four, Jones expertly drew to the button with her final rock to score a point in the fourth end.
In the fifth, King knocked Jones's stone out far enough from the button and survived a very close measurement to score three and take a 6-4 lead.
Jones narrowed the advantage by scoring one in the sixth end, but King answered back with a pair to open up a three-point lead after seven ends.
Jones scored an open hit for three in the eighth end to tie the affair at 8-8, but King tallied a deuce in the ninth and then held on for the win after giving up a single in the 10th.
Edmonton's Kevin Martin faces Glenn Howard of Coldwater, Ont., in the men's final on Sunday (CBC, 12 p.m. ET).
