The Wildcats, who host the Canadian junior hockey championship this spring, picked up Luc Bourdon from the Val d'Or Foreurs in return for a package that includes 19-year-old defenceman Jean-Sebastien Adam, and 52-point forward Ian Mathieu-Girard, a 20-year-old.
In some creative structuring, the Foreurs also get 17-year-old forward Brad Marchand, but not until the end of the season. He will remain with Moncton through the end of the year.
Val d'Or also gets a fourth-round midget draft pick in 2007 and a first-rounder in 2008.

Bourdon, 18, is currently playing with the Canadian national team at the world junior hockey championship in Vancouver, where he is second in scoring by defenders with five points, and has a plus-4 rating.
A native of Shippagan, N.B., Bourdon said he was looking forward to playing in a Memorial Cup in his home province.
"I think they could do some great things in the playoffs, and also we have the Memorial Cup so I think it's going to be a great year," Bourbon said in Vancouver.
