After an ugly contract dispute, Marian Gaborik is back with the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild re-signed Gaborik on Friday, four days after it looked like the all-star winger was gone for good.

Financial terms were not immediately available.

Gaborik left Minnesota on Monday and threatened to go back to his native Slovakia after contract talks broke down for a second time.

"Unfortunately, the Wild management have been and remain unwilling to negotiate," Gaborik said in a statement released through his Montreal-based agent David Schatia on Monday.

Wild general manager Doug Risebrough responded to Gaborik's comments, saying in a statement that his young forward was disrespecting the team-first concept in Minnesota with outrageous contract demands.

Gaborik, 21, led Minnesota with 65 points including 30 goals in 81 games last season while earning $1.075 million -- the last year of his entry-level contract. He also earned an additional $3 million in performance bonuses

Gaborik was originally was asking for close to $6.5 million a year, but lowered his asking price to $13.5 million over three years.

Risebrough had offered Gaborik a three-year, $9.45-million US contract sheet just over two weeks ago, but it was turned down. The offer would have given Gaborik $2.8 million this season, $3.15 million next year and $3.55 million in 2005-06, plus incentives.

The Wild now have all of their players under contract.

Pascal Dupuis, another holdout forward, re-signed last week for $2.508 million over three years.

Minnesota is 4-6-1-0 so far this season.
