Brett Lindros faces charges for snowmobile crash

Lindros, the younger brother of hockey star Eric Lindros, was on the back of a snowmobile driven by a friend when the machine crashed into a rocky shoreline on Crane Lake, about three hours north of Toronto.
The two men were sharing one machine after a second snowmobile had gone through the ice earlier in the day.
The men were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the charges come months after the Feb. 18 accident because blood tests took several weeks to complete.
Dan Cameron, 25, of Toronto, is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail.
He also faces careless driving charges under the motorized snow vehicle act which carries a fine.
Lindros, 25, who is a former New York Islander, has been charged with operating a snowmachine without a licence or a valid permit. If convicted he could face a $90 fine for each charge.
Both men have been ordered to appear in a Parry Sound court next month.
