"They can put the strike zone wherever, on third base, in left field. It doesn't matter to me."
Guerrero, who has a .322 career average, hit .345 last season with 44 homers and 123 RBIs.
He joined Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio and Jimmie Fox as the only players with 30 homers, 100 RBIs and .300 average in three straight years before age 25.

Guerrero will be joined in the Expos lineup this year by Fernando Tatis, the hard-hitting third baseman acquired from St. Louis during the off-season.
The two played together in the early '90s and are good friends.
"I feel really good that he's here," Guerrero said. "I believe he will do well.
"We have four good hitters in the middle of the lineup and everybody has to do their job and not depend on the other guy."
One player missing will be his brother, Wilton, who left Montreal and signed with Cincinnati.
With Wilton's departure, Altagracia Guerrero has only one son to cook for this season.
She travels from the Dominican Republic to Montreal every year and lives in the same complex as Vladimir, making sure he is well taken care of and that the Expos' other Latin American players are well fed.
"I am happy to see Wilton go to another team," Vladimir Guerrero said. "All I want for him is a chance to play every day and make his future."
Reliever Guillermo Mota is experiencing visa problems and hasn't reported yet.
