Wear your heart on your sleeve on Jersey Day - Friday, September 17

On Jersey Day, all Canadians will get to show their team colours and rally support for the first-ever national Sports Day in Canada on September 18. Sports Day in Canada, brought to you by CBC SPORTS, ParticipACTION and True Sport, is a national celebration of sport at all levels in communities across the country. Local organizations, schools and clubs, big and small, are hosting open houses, try-it days, competitions and tournaments in the week leading up to September 18.

How to get involved in Jersey Day

Download the tools you'll need to help promote Jersey Day, including the Jersey Day poster, e-blast, and web banner.  
Tell your friends, family and teammates--and maybe even your local mayor or politicians--to wear their team colours and support Sports Day in Canada with you. At work, consider getting your office or company involved, and ask your manager to endorse a special dress code for Jersey Day. At school, consider asking the principal or a teacher to include a PA announcement about Jersey Day in your school.
