Ukraine striker Andriy Voronin has left Liverpool to join Dynamo Moscow on a three-year contract.

"The transfer of Andriy Voronin is a done deal," Dynamo sporting director Konstantin Sarsania said in a statement.

Voronin returned to Anfield this season after spending last season on loan at Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga.

"I had options to continue my career in Germany, several offers from Russia, but in the end I chose Dynamo," he said. "I liked their professional approach."

Liverpool said Friday that it had negotiated a transfer fee worth two million euros ($2.97 million Cdn) with Dynamo.
