Canadian soccer fans have a chance to watch Real Madrid live in action at home.

The Spanish league team is making a stop in Toronto during its North American tour to play a preseason friendly against Toronto FC at BMO field on Aug. 7.

The club made the announcement of the stop in Canada Wednesday on its website. The game is set for two days before Madrid visits Washington to play D.C. United at Fedex Field.

The exhibition matches are part of Real Madrid's pre-season training.

Madrid finished second to rival Barcelona in the Spanish league this season.

Earlier this week Madrid named Florentino Perez as president and Manuel Pellegrini was named head coach.
