World champion Spain retained its No. 1 spot in the FIFA monthly world rankings released Wednesday by soccer's international governing body.
The Spaniards held onto the top spot ahead of the Netherlands, Brazil, Germany and Argentina.
England, Uruguay, Portugal, Italy and Croatia rounded out the top 10.
It was a virtually unchanged ranking at the top, with the only change in the top 20 seeing Chile (No. 13) and Japan (No. 14) swap places.
Canada dropped one spot to No. 76, sandwiched between Estonia and China.
The United States is the top team from CONCACAF, the soccer confederation that covers North and Central America and the Caribbean, at No. 22.
Canada ranks seventh among CONCACAF nations behind the U.S., Mexico (No. 28), Honduras (No. 43), Jamaica (No. 55), Costa Rica (No. 56) and Panama (No. 67).
Six countries — Andorra, Montserrat, San Marino, Papua New Guinea, Anguilla, and American Samoa — are tied for last at No. 202.
The next FIFA ranking will be published on June 29.
