Inter Milan's president says that Maicon is staying at the Serie A club, despite reported interest from Real Madrid.

Massimo Moratti said Monday that the Brazilian right-back "stays at Inter," in comments reported by the ANSA news agency. Moratti said he considers Maicon "so good that, perhaps, I can allow myself not to sell him."

Asked specifically about an offer from Madrid, Moratti reportedly responded that he had taken Maicon off the market.

Last season, Maicon helped Inter win a treble of Champions League, Serie A and Italian Cup titles under coach Jose Mourinho. The Brazilian was linked with a move to Real Madrid after Mourinho took over at the Santiago Bernabeu.
