Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to the pitch after missing nearly two months due to injury, coming on as a second-half substitute in Real Madrid's Champions League match against FC Zurich on Wednesday.

The Portugal winger, who hasn't played for Madrid since injuring an ankle in a Champions League win over Marseille on Sept. 30, was brought on for Raul Gonzalez in the 70th minute of a Group C match at Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Ronaldo is Madrid's leading scorer in Europe this season with four goals.
