Beckham wants to keep fit for the World Cup at the end of the 2009-10 European season with a similar arrangement to last year, when he spent several months on loan to Milan.
Beckham says "LA Galaxy know that. If it upsets a few people, I can't do anything about it."
But the England midfielder says he is still likely to return to the Los Angeles MLS team after the World Cup.
