FC Dallas star Kenny Cooper isn't going anywhere.

On Tuesday, Dallas general manager Michael Hitchcock released a brief statement stating that all transfer offers for the 23-year-old American forward had been declined by the Major League Soccer team

"We received offers from multiple international clubs for Kenny Cooper during this transfer window," Hitchcock's statement read, "but we elected to decline them all. The international interest is a credit to Kenny, FC Dallas and the increasing talent level in Major League Soccer. "

Cooper, who was once a member of Manchester United's youth system, had been linked to several European clubs, most notably Cardiff City in the English Premier League and Norwegian powerhouse Rosenborg.

Hitchcock said the club intends to hold onto Cooper, whose 11 goals this season rank second in MLS behind L.A. Galaxy star Landon Donovan, for the time being.

"Winning championships is our priority," Hitchcock said, "and we feel strongly that Kenny will continue to be an important part of our success as we compete for the MLS Cup this year and in the future."

In his three years in MLS, all with Dallas, Cooper has 26 goals. He also played in last week's MLS all-star game in Toronto when the league's top stars defeated English club West Ham United 3-2.
