Make it six weeks and counting between wins for Toronto FC.

Robbie Findley scored in the 87th minute as Real Salt Lake prevailed 2-1 over visiting Toronto FC at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Monday night.

Toronto has not tasted victory since clipping the Colorado Rapids 3-1 on June 14, with its stagnant offence mustering just three goals in five games (0-3-2).

"We know we have a good team," TFC goalkeeper Greg Sutton told CBC Sports. "We just have to put it together for 90 minutes."

Defender Jamison Olave broke the scoreless stalemate in the 63rd minute, slipping behind the defence and bouncing a header off the turf and behind Sutton for his first MLS goal.

Amado Guevara tied it 1-1 for Toronto on a free kick in the 84th minute, blasting a shot beyond the reach of a diving Nick Rimando and inside the right post.

It was Guevara's third goal of the season.

Three minutes later, Sutton made the initial save on midfielder Kyle Beckerman, but Findley retrieved the rebound and scored his fifth goal on a sliding shot from the top of the box.

It was Findley's fifth and helped Real Salt Lake (7-6-6) remain unbeaten at home (6-0-4).

"It is frustrating," Sutton said. "It seems like we cannot get the breaks when we need them.

"We have to do better on reacting to things. Even offensively, we did not do that tonight."

Sutton kept Toronto in contention throughout, punching away a curving shot from Beckerman in the first half and pouncing on a loose ball at Findley's feet in the second.

Findley also struck the right post from point-blank range as Real Salt Lake outshot Toronto 5-1 in the opening half and 9-4 overall.

Midfielder Laurent Robert had the best chance of the first half for Toronto (6-7-4), heading a splendid chip from Rohan Ricketts off the crossbar.

Ibbe Ibrahim knocked a header off the netting in his third consecutive start.

Toronto was still without forward Chad Barrett, acquired July 25 from the Chicago Fire for the rights to striker Brian McBride.

And both midfielder Maurice Edu and defender Marvell Wynne were unavailable, having joined the U.S. Olympic team in preparation for the Beijing Summer Games.

Defender Robbie Russell played the final 17 minutes in his first action since coming to Real Salt Lake in last Thursday's transfer with Viborg FF of Denmark.
