Real Salt Lake striker Robbie Findley is Major League Soccer's player of the week.

Findley posted one goal and one assist in last Saturday's 3-1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes, entering the contest in the second half as a substitute.

He scored from 23 yards out in the 48th minute, and later set up Javier Morales for the decisive goal on a perfectly executed give-and-go in the 60th minute.

Findley, 22, has two goals and two assists in 10 games this season, his second in MLS.

He split 18 games last season between the Los Angeles Galaxy and Salt Lake, topping all rookies with eight goals.

Findley was selected in the second round (16th overall) of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft by the Galaxy, who traded him and Nathan Sturgis to Salt Lake for Chris Klein last June 21.
