D.C. United's Ben Olsen wins MLS weekly honour

D.C. United midfielder Ben Olsen was named Major League Soccer's player of the week Tuesday after leading his team to a 4-2 win over the New York Red Bulls last weekend.

Olsen recorded his first career hat trick and helped United win despite playing a man down for the final 30 minutes of the game.

Now in his 10th MLS season, Olsen has recorded 25 goals during his career.

Olsen scored his first goal of the game and his second of the season on a header in the 15th minute, and added goals in the 72nd and 84th minutes to put the game out of New York's reach.
