England will host Mexico in an exhibition game at London's Wembley Stadium on May 24 as it prepares for its World Cup opener against the United States.
England is due to depart for the first of two trips to a training camp at altitude in Austria on May 17. If Arsenal or Manchester United advance to the Champions League final on May 22, national team players from those clubs would not be used in the Mexico exhibition.
England also will play Japan in an exhibition at Graz on May 30.
England arrives in South Africa on June 3, nine days before its first competitive game against the U.S. since the 1-0 American upset victory at the 1950 World Cup.
Seeking its first World Cup title since 1966, England also plays Algeria (June 18) and Slovenia (June 23) in Group C of the first round.
