Honduras saw its winless streak stretched to five matches when it was beaten by Romania 3-0 on Saturday in its final World Cup warmup game.

Honduras hasn't won since beating the United States 3-1 in a friendly in January.

Goals by Marius Nicolae in the 20th and Gheorghe Florescu in the 45th minute gave Romania a 2-0 lead in the first half.

Mirel Radoi converted a penalty after 76 minutes to complete the scoring.

Honduras opens its World Cup campaign against Chile on June 16 and also plays Switzerland and Spain in Group H.

Romania failed to qualify for the tournament in South Africa.
