Once every four years, I sit in front of my television for hours a day watching World Cup soccer. Never really knowing who I should cheer for, whatever support I do hold for a team usually leans towards whichever country is both in the World Cup and closest to my country of origin, Slovenia (since they never seem to make it in). But this time it's a little different. This time I actually have a country that I can support without any query. This time, Slovenia has made it into the FIFA World Cup. This time things are different for me as well. Completely coincidentally, I am in Slovenia doing a semester abroad. I am pretty sure it's fate, it's gotta be!
