We Won!

This was such a stressful day for me.

I wasn't able to do anything until the game was over. 

I was sure was a ball of nerves during the game..so much at stake!

It was a rainy day in Winnipeg.

I got decked out in Spanish paraphernalia down to my red undies, and made my way to what turned out to be a pretty quiet venue.

I dragged a couple of my friends who had a great time listening to my swearing, praying and yelling...all in Spanish! 

After 90 tense minutes and a few calls to family in Montreal, Spain and even Africa (hola sis!)

I was finally able to relax just a bit...cause we won!

Although, I do have to say that we should've won by a "loooot" more. How many times did we miss beautiful goals.

We sure hit the post quite a bit and...Villa, that penalty??!! (I forgive you because you scored the 2 goals).

So now we must win against Chile on Friday.

I'll be in Toronto for that match and I am determined to surround myself by some other Spaniards!  Where do you guys hang out?

Until then.....I'm back to stressing out.
