Well, Karim Benzema looks like he's not going to be on the French national team for the World Cup next month, and many pundits think it had a lot to do with a certain prostitute that may or may not have been underage when the Real Madrid star allegedly utilized her, um, "services."

Benzema could be in hot water with French authorities after Zahia Dehar, now 18, said she had paid sex with him and a couple other French players while she was (apparently unbeknownst to the trio) underage.

However, if Benzema is getting flak for his trysts, he's definitely not alone in his troubles. Many World Cup rosters would look very different if managers took cheeky play into account. Here are some examples:

Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)

The rumours surrounding the dazzling footballer's dalliances spread far and wide, which includes a laundry list of celebrities and upscale call girls. But none come close to the firestorm created across Europe after his alleged "group session" with five prostitutes and two Manchester United teammates in 2007.

Daniel Guiza (Spain)

Almost played himself off Spain's roster in 2009 after his ex-wife told media outlets that the two allegedly met up hours before a friendly against England. Guiza, who had remarried by then, denied the whole thing, saying "To make money, [my ex-wife] makes up stories."

Nani (Portugal)

John Terry (England)

Was stripped of the team captaincy earlier this year after news broke that he cheated on his wife. With his best friend's long-term girlfriend. Who happened to also be on the England national team with Terry. The former England captain's best pal, Wayne Bridge, subsequently left the squad to make things a little less awkward (read: violent).

Ashley Cole (England)

The left back is married to Britain's hottest pop icon, singer-actress-TV personality Cheryl from Girls Aloud, but that hasn't stopped Cole from having a string of affairs while on the road, and was allegedly caught sending "revealing" photos of himself to a model in February. Word has surfaced that the couple is headed for divorce (surprise!).

Wayne Roo…oh, hell with it:

England national team

The British Sun tabloid proclaimed in late February that if there was a Sex Scandal World Cup, England would win hands down. Hard to argue, with Terry, Cole, Frank Lampard, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Wayne Rooney, David James, David Beckham, and others linked to infidelity, sometimes with ridiculous results. And we're pretty sure the rabid British press never fuels thatfire.

Franck Ribery & Sidney Govou

Both are French footballers, who were recently named to France's provisional squad by coach Raymond Domenech. They were also named as other clients of the aforementioned underage French prostitute Dehar, along with Benzema. Of course, Benzema could've also been left off the French team because he has only eight goals this season while mostly heating the bench for Los Galacticos, after costing the Spanish giants $44.4 million in transfer fees in 2009. You never know.
