Cameroon played to a 0-0 draw with Georgia in a World Cup warmup game in Lienz, Austria on Tuesday, less than three weeks before the team's opening match.

Freiburg striker Mohamadou Idrissou missed two chances for Cameroon, which struggled to find any rhythm in the match.

Goalkeeper Guy Roland Ndy Assembe, defender Jean Patrick Abouna Ndzana and midfielders Marcel Ndjeng and Patrick Mevoungou all made their debut for Cameroon.

Cameroon opens against Japan on June 14 at the World Cup. The Netherlands and Denmark are also in Group E.

Georgia failed to qualify for the tournament in South Africa.
