Caleb Clarke scored a goal in each half as Canada defeated Costa Rica 2-0 in a men's under-20 soccer friendly on Wednesday.
The win capped a 10-day training camp in the United States and Costa Rica, which also included a 3-0 exhibition win over a local team in Florida.
"We had a good week of work in Florida and we took that into Costa Rica," said Canadian coach Nick Dasovic. "It is always good to end the camp on a high note."
Goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau, one of 17 Canadian players featured in the match, posted the clean sheet.
Canada is currently preparing for the 2013 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 Championship, starting Feb. 18 in Puebla, Mexico. Four of the 12 teams at that tournament will qualify for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.
