Here’s how each team looks heading into the final set of Group F matches on Tuesday.

Here’s a breakdown of how each team fares heading into the final round of Group F matches on Monday.

Argentina, 1st place, 6 pts

Already clinched Round of 16 berth

Nigeria, 2nd place, 4 pts

Advances to Round of 16 with…

  • Win/draw vs. Argentina
  • Loss vs. Argentina AND Iran draw/loss vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina
  • Loss vs. Argentina AND Iran loss vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina AND Nigeria maintains goal-differential advantage over Iran (+2 for Nigeria heading into matches)
  • NOTE: If Argentina wins 1-0 over Nigeria, and Iran wins 1-0 over Bosnia-Herzegovina, FIFA will draw lots to determine if Nigeria or Iran advance.

Iran, 3rd place, 1 pt

Advances to Round of 16 with…

  • Win vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina AND Nigeria loss vs. Argentina AND Iran takes goal-differential advantage over Nigeria (+2 for Nigeria heading into matches)
  • NOTE: If Argentina wins 1-0 over Nigeria, and Iran wins 1-0 over Bosnia-Herzegovina, FIFA will draw lots to determine if Nigeria or Iran advance.

Bosnia-Herzegovina, 4th place, 0 pts
