Tim Cahill is now a contender for the best goal at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The Aussie striker scored a beauty against the Netherlands on Wednesday, cracking a left-footed over-the-shoulder volley off the crossbar and in.

Funnily enough, he scored against the Netherlands, so Robin van Persie got a chance to watch the goal that may take the crown off of his head.

Van Persie scored against Spain last Friday on a magnificent rainbow header, off of a pass from half.
