Lindsey Vonn can add another World Cup downhill championship to her resumé.

The 24-year-old American clinched her second consecutive title by finishing 12th in Saturday's race at Bansko, Bulgaria, giving her an uncatchable lead of 336 points over her closest challenger, Germany's Maria Riesch.

Only one race remains in the downhill season.

With her second championship in a row, Vonn is now the first American to accomplish this feat since Picabo Street won the downhill title in 1995 and 1996.

Andrea Fischbacher of Austria won Saturday's race with a time of 1:45:81 seconds.

Canadians Britt Janyk and Emily Brydon finished 21st and 22nd respectively. Brydon currently sits 24th in the overall standings, while Janyk is in 36th place.
