Injured Swiss skier Daniel Albrecht will need specialized medical care after crashing in a downhill training session last month.

A Swiss hospital said Friday that Albrecht requires total peace and quiet and may only be visited by immediate friends and family.

Albrecht was transferred from Austria to Bern University's Insel hospital on Sunday to continue his recovery from brain and lung injuries suffered in the Jan. 22 crash.

Albrecht woke up from an induced coma three weeks after crashing on the final jump of the Streif course in Kitzbuehel.

Doctors believe Albrecht should make a full recovery.

Albrecht won two World Cup races this season and sits in 10th place in the overall World Cup standings. Albrecht was the 2007 super-combined world champion.
