For sledge hockey forward Brad Bowden, gold at the Sochi Paralympics means everything.

Team Canada's assistant captaing, between games in Sochi, spoke to CBC Sports host Monika Platek Wednesday morning about what winning gold would mean, and the wave of Canadian support in Sochi and back home as the team prepares for its big semifinal matchup Thursday against the United States.
