Oscar Pistorius surrenders another Paralympic title
Oscar Pistorius lost another of his Paralympic titles, finishing fourth in the 100-metre final.
Jonny Peacock of Britain won the showpiece race in 10.90 seconds Thursday to loud cheers from the home crowd. Pistorius, the defending champion, had a time of 11.17.
The "Blade Runner" came in second in the 200 final Sunday. Pistorius had complained that 200 winner Alan Oliveira of Brazil won after using lengthened blades. The Brazilian finished seventh Thursday.
Pistorius will be looking to defend his 400 title when his preferred final takes place Saturday. He anchored South Africa to victory in the 4x100 relay Wednesday.
