Time is winding down at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway and so is the opportunity to win medals.

Team Canada's hockey team advanced to Sunday's gold-medal match after beating Finland 4-3 on today.

Canada has won five medals at the Youth Olympics to this point.

Toronto's Ali Nullmeyer won a silver in slalom on Thursday. Canada's mixed curling team won gold on Wednesday. Calgary luger Brooke Apshkrum and Chilliwack, B.C., ski cross racer Reece Howden both claimed gold medals on Monday. Whistler, B.C., native Reid Watts won Canada's first medal of the Youth Olympics, earning bronze in men's singles luge on Sunday.
