The Canadian mixed curling team advanced to the gold-medal match following quarter-final and semifinal wins on Tuesday.

Canada has won three medals at the Youth Olympics. 

Calgary luger Brooke Apshkrum and Chilliwack, B.C., ski cross racer Reece Howden both claimed gold medals on Monday. Whistler, B.C., native Reid Watts won Canada's first medal of the Youth Olympics, earning bronze in men's singles luge.
