Ottawa's Ivanie Blondin, who won gold in the women's mass start at this year's single distance worlds, and Calgary's Ted-Jan Bloemen, who took silver in the men's 10,000 metres at that meet, are Canada's representatives in Berlin.

Blondin and Bloemen will try to get Canada back on the podium at the allround championships for the first time since 2012, when Christine Nesbitt finished third overall on the women's side.
