Thomas Morgenstern of Austria captured his fourth straight World Cup ski jump event Saturday in Engelberg, Switzerland.

Morgenstern trailed Polish great Adam Malysz after the first round, then delivered a 135.5-metre jump for a combined total of 291 points.

Malysz, 33, was second on 288.8 points for the 84th podium finish of his World Cup career.

Matti Hautamaeki of Finland was third.

Another Finn, Ville Larinto, had the longest jump of 140 metres in the second round to place fifth.

Morgenstern, who also won a makeup competition at Engelberg on Friday, heads the World Cup standings with 525 points. Austrian teammate Andreas Kofler is second with 380, while Larinto is third with 321
