Tyler McGregor had two goals and three assists as Canada shut out Norway 8-0 Wednesday at the International Ice Sledge Hockey Tournament in Turin, Italy.
Canada finished the preliminary round 3-0 to earn the top semifinal seed and set up a rematch with Norway on Friday.
Dom Cozzolino and Adam Dixon both scored twice for Canada, while Mathieu Trudeau and Billy Bridges had the other goals.
Goaltender Dominic Larocque earned his second tournament shutout victory.
"We played smart and as a team. We set a high pace and played with structure, which resulted in goals," head coach Ken Babey said. "Now we are moving on, and focusing on the semifinals."
Kjell Christian Hamar took the loss in goal for Norway.
