Mark McMorris is a rising star on the world snowboard scene.

Only 19-years-old, the Regina native already has three X Games titles under his belt (two in slopestyle, another in big air) and he captured the silver medal in slopestyle at this year's FIS world championships.

McMorris is also a social media favourite, with more than 44,000 followers to his Instagram account and another 24,000 on Twitter.

Next year he'll try to add an Olympic medal to his already impressive resume when slopestyle makes its debut in Sochi.

Mark joined us for a Spreecast chat to share what his plans and preparations entail in the lead up to Sochi 2014.

He also lets us in on his favourite music genres and his favourite cities to visit.
