Team fights back against a Twitter troll, sparking a love-in with fans

Internet wisdom decrees "don't feed the trolls," but the Toronto Maple Leafs broke that rule on Friday and made a lot of new friends in the process.

It all started with this tweet:

The Leafs' social media team didn't sit idly by and take it...

Taunted again, The Leafs didn't back down

Fans — and non-fans — chimed in

Montreal and Winnipeg joined in

In the end, a beautiful friendship between the social media teams of the Habs and Blue Jackets was born
