"It's going to take a throw close to 83 or
84 metres to win, and there's six
throwers who have gone over 80. Koji from Japan
is a great story because
they're not traditionally strong, but he has the
longest throw of the year. (On the women's front)
Kuzenkova is the most consistent thrower, and she
has several throws over 71 metres. She's way ahead
of the rest of the crowd. The Olympic winner from
Poland was fluke, but that's the nature of field
events -- sometimes it all just works out for you."
