Decathlon
"Sebrle for sure is the best now. Judging
from the indoor world championships
and the meet at Gotzis, he's looking incredible.
It's always difficult to
set a world record at a big event because of all
the distractions, but
Sebrle is on such a roll, he could do it again."
Heptathlon
"I would guess that Barber is the hungrier
of the two. Lewis admits that she
isn't in the best shape that she wants to be in.
So Barber is the class of
the field, but Lewis does have the big meet experience."

Both the
"athlons" claim to be the best gauge of the best all-around
athlete. Given the broad array of disciplines heptathletes and
decathletes have to master, it's hard to argue with those claims.
