Her former world record and personal best of 4.81m was bested by Yelena Isinbayeva of
Russia in July (4.82). Dragila's best vault this year is 4.62m
Completed triple of women's pole vault first at Sydney Olympics,
winning the gold medal in the women's pole vault after winning
the first women's pole vault titles at the world indoor championships
(1997) and the world championships (1999)
Studies tapes of Ukrainian pole vault legend Sergei Bubka, who
set 35 world records (17 outdoor, 18 indoor). Her father, Bill,
has nicknamed her "Bubka Junior"
