Hockey analyst Hanarayan Singh returns for its fourth season with CBC's HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA. In 2008, Singh became the first Canadian to provide live Punjabi analysis for CBC's HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA and each game during the NHL Stanley Cup Final.
Singh's broadcasting career began in his hometown of Brooks, Alberta at Q13 radio. He completed his broadcasting education from Mount Royal University in Calgary while also serving as a reporter for CBC Radio. In 2004, he was one of eight broadcasting students chosen from thousands across Canada to work for TSN's Sportscentre
In addition to his role on CBC's HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA, Singh is a reporter with CBC Calgary, a Mortgage Agent and an accomplished musician, playing the Tabla and Harmonium and performing in front of large audiences on numerous occasions across Canada, the United States and India. Harnarayan has also accompanied some of the world's most famous Sikh musicians as a vocalist and percussionist.
