He now has nine goals and 36 points, which ties him with John Tavares of the Islanders for second in the rookie scoring race — 11 points behind Colorado's Matt Duchene.

SECOND STAR: Lee Stempniak, RW, Phoenix

The new Coyotes forward scored twice and also potted a shootout goal in Phoenix's 4-3 win at home against Vancouver. Stempniak now has three goals and four points since he was traded to the Coyotes from Toronto.
