Financial terms were not announced, but the Orange County Register reported the deal will average out to $4.5 million US per season. Hiller is making $1.3 million this season.
"Jonas has proved himself as a starting NHL goaltender," team general manager Bob Murray said in a statement. "We expect him to only get better and are pleased he’s committed to us for four more seasons."
Hiller has started 38 of Anaheim's 55 games this season. The Swiss netminder has supplanted veteran Jean-Sébastien Giguère as the No. 1 man, with a 2.75 goals-against average and .916 saver percentage with one shutout.
Hiller, who turns 28 next month, has nine wins this month as the Ducks have crept closer to a playoff position in the Western Conference.
"This is a very exciting day for me personally," said Hiller. "Anaheim has been a great place for me to play, and I couldn’t be happier to stay here."
During his career, Hiller has appeared in 108 NHL games with the Ducks, with five shutouts and a 2.46 goals-against average.
Montrealer Giguère, 32, is under contract to Anaheim next season at $6 million.
