Three Sharks have caught the attention of Don Cherry and he hopes Team Canada reels them in.

On his Coach's Corner segment on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday, Cherry chatted about San Jose's 6-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday where Dany Heatley had a hat trick, Joe Thornton posted four assists and Patrick Marleau notched his 14th goal of the season.

Cherry was impressed with Heatley's play in the busiest part of the ice.

"See how [Heatley] stops, kids? … He stops and gets his stick down and he's always there in front of the net, all of the time," Cherry said. "And he shoots, shoots, shoots."

Cherry made a recommendation to Team Canada executive director Steve Yzerman, the architect of the 2010 Olympic men's hockey team.

"Stevie Yzerman, I would suggest that this is your number one line, they're top three in the five scoring [leaders]. How could you get anyone else but Jumbo Joe, Heatley and Marleau?"

As of Friday, Heatley was the top goal scorer in the league with 17, Thornton leads all players in assists (24) and Marleau has 14 goals and 12 helpers.
