The Columbus Blue Jackets got a good forward back on Friday but lost another as the team activated Kristian Huselius off the injured reserve list and placed Raffi Torres on it.

Torres is expected to be out at least a week, the team said Friday, but there's speculation he could miss up to twice that much time after he was hit in the mouth with a puck in Wednesday's 9-1 home loss to Detroit.

Torres, whose eight goals rank second on the team behind captain Rich Nash, lost some teeth and damaged the area of the mouth that connects the teeth with the upper jaw bone, the Columbus Dispatch reported.

Huselius has been out since Nov. 1 with a strained shoulder suffered during practice. The winger, who was the Jackets' No. 2 scorer last season, is expected to rejoin the top line with Nash and centre Antoine Vermette for Friday night's home game against Anaheim.
