Concussion adds to Sykora's tough season

Wild winger out indefinitely after missing 6 games with groin injury

Last Updated: Monday, November 9, 2009 | 10:42 PM ET

Minnesota Wild right-winger Petr Sykora has a concussion and is out indefinitely.

Sykora took a hit to the head in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars. In his first season with the Wild, Sykora has already missed six games because of a groin injury.

He has two goals and one assist in 10 games.

Also, the team said defenceman Kim Johnsson has been cleared to play again after missing the last seven games because of an unspecified upper body injury.

The 5-10-0 Wild visit the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday looking to escape the basement in the Western Conference.
