Kyle Calder is back in the NHL with the Anaheim Ducks, the team announced Wednesday.

The winger, who'd been looking for a team since Anaheim cut him in the pre-season, received a one-year contract and was subsequently assigned to the Ducks' East Coast Hockey League affiliate in Bakersfield, Calif.

Calder, 30, spent last season with the Los Angles Kings, recording 27 points (eight goals) in 74 games.

In 576 career NHL games with Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit and L.A., Calder has amassed 292 points (114 goals). His most productive season came with the Blackhawks in 2005-06, when he set career highs in goals (26) and points (59).
