Coyotes fans show their support during a September pre-season game. (Rick Scuteri/Associated Press)The Phoenix Coyotes have sold out their home opener Saturday night against Columbus.
The sellout is due largely to lowering all upper-bowl ticket prices to $15 US.
The Coyotes, whose ownership is still the subject of bankruptcy proceedings, have made the event a "Welcome Back Whiteout" promotion. Everyone in attendance at the 18,000-seat Jobing.com Arena will receive white T-shirts and pompoms.
A few hundred standing room-only tickets remained on Friday.
