The National Hockey League announced the possible start dates for the Stanley Cup final on Friday.
If both conference finals end in sweeps, the championship will start on May 28. If either series reaches five games, the finals will begin on June 5.
Right now, Pittsburgh has a 2-0 series lead over Carolina in the East, and Detroit has a 2-0 advantage over Chicago in the West.
There could be as little as two days between the third round and the finals, and as much as nine days between games if one series goes to five games.
The NHL said that specific dates and times will be available later.
CBC Sports' Hockey Night in Canada will broadcast every game of the finals on television, and they'll also be available online at CBCSports.ca.
