Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller has a new worst enemy.
That would be the end boards at the Bell Centre in Montreal, off of which two shots bounced crazily back in front for goals in a 4-2 loss to the Canadiens on Saturday night.

The worst of them was the winner, courtesy of Roman Hamrlik, whose shot from the point on a two-man advantage came off the boards, off a skate, off Miller and into the net.
The first of them was in the opening frame when a Hamrlik shot from the point went wide right by Miller, hit the boards and came out the other side, onto Bryan Smolinski's stick.
He put it past the startled Sabre for his first of the year, 2:14 into the game.
Miller had come into the contest with a spectacular 4-0 record and 1.71 goals against average in his career at Montreal and for a while it looked as though he'd go to 5-0, as the Sabres came back from the early disadvantage to build a 2-1 lead.
Buffalo's ability to score in a hurry came to the fore early in the second.
Paul Gaustad tipped in a shot from the point at 4:12 to tie the game 1-1, and just nine seconds later, Derek Roy took a pass from Thomas Vanek and wristed one by Huet to put the Sabres up 2-1.
Kyle Chipchura evened things again on an unassisted wrist shot from the side boards after stealing the puck, at 7:10.
That led to the weird winner in the third period from Hamrlik at 12:38. That goal was originally credited to Christopher Higgins until the NHL took a look at the replay following the game and made the change.
Higgins scored into the open net in the final minute to put the game out of reach.
Montreal improved to 3-2-2 with the victory while Buffalo dropped to 3-4-0.
